F.M.
Outside of tech, I led a four-month cross-institutional art exhibition at Vanderbilt Divinity School, coordinating seven stakeholders and increasing audience engagement by 60%. I've served as Student Body President, a charter member for a Girls Who Code chapter at Fisk, and mentored high school students through hackathons. I've spent a lot of time learning how to move people toward something — without having direct authority over any of them. That, it turns out, is also exactly what PMs do.
I'm now building toward my first PM role — focused on products that reduce friction, create connection, and solve problems that actually matter to people.

CS + Business · Fisk University · Product Builder
I started in software. In May 2025, I interned at Oracle, where I worked on an Research and Development project exploring whether Oracle's enterprise financial platform could be converted from a monolithic architecture to microservices — I built a fully functional proof-of-concept that could perform all core functions independently. It was technical, it was challenging, and it taught me something important about myself: I was more energized by the research questions than the code.
I wanted to understand why we were building what we were building. Who used this system? What would make it easier for them? What tradeoffs were we actually making? I found myself in meetings with PMs, watching how they held the problem space — the users, the business, the technical constraints — all at once. That's when I knew.
